About The Project
The Tree Parker Cell System was installed in to a 240 m² tree growing facilities on the school yard of Groupe Scolaire in Chaville, a town situated between Versailes and Paris.
What was done
The Tree Parker growing facilities are equipped with the TreeParker tree pit system to allow the trees to grow sustainably, healthy and to full maturity for the next 100 years.
Because healthy, well-growing trees only really contribute to the climate problems facing the world.
These growth facilities can temporarily store and purify water, further, the trees cool the schoolyard for the students and staff, capture particulate matter and CO² with their crowns, provide “shelter” for birds and insects, and thus make an important contribution to biodiversity and ecosystem services in the city.
