Rainbird Dripline Irrigation
Description
The Rainbird XFD dripline is a coiled, brown poly tube with an extruded ‘knuckle’ every 30cm, designed to be a pressure-compensating labyrinth. A miniscule hole is located every millimetre, from which water emerges. Driplines are pressure-compensating (PC), meaning that every drip emitter down the coil will only emit the specified amount of water (1.6 – 2.3 litres/hour, model dependant), regardless of the pressure or location of the pipe.
The Rainbird XFD dripline offers an irrigation line to be laid on the surface of your garden bed or green roofs which can be covered with mulch but not buried.
